Druing the Cochrane Colloquium in London from September 3-6, 2023, we had the opportunity to hold our Cochrane Skin Group meeting, which proved to be rich in interesting sessions and exchanges. It was a real pleasure to bring our team together.

Cochrane Skin moved to a new home in France near Paris in April 2023. We are very grateful to the French Dermatology Society, our main funder, for its support. Laurence Le Cleach assumes the role of Co-ordinating Editor together with Bob Boyle in London and Ching-Chi Chi in Taiwan as deputy Editors.

The 2022 CRG Impact Factor for the Cochrane Skin Group increased to 9.258. This therefore means that a review published by the Skin Group Skin Group in 2020 and 2021 was cited, on average, 9.2 times in 2022. This represents an increase on the 2021 IF, which was 7.400 Thank you to all who have contributed!

The next Cochrane Skin annual meeting will be held virtually on September 15 & September 16, 2022. It will be hosted by Cochrane Skin Editor Dr Aaron Drucker of the University of Toronto, and is sponsored by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR) Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis.

The 2020 CRG Impact Factor for the Cochrane Skin Group is 8.129.This therefore means that a review published by the Skin Group in 2018 and 2019 was cited, on average, 8.129 times in 2020 (31 publications cited 252 times). This has improved on the previous year, that was 7.500 (26 publications cited 195 times). Cochrane Skin is pleased to announce the publication of a new review, Phototherapy for atopic eczema. This review was led by dermatologists from Amsterdam University Medical Centers, and supported by a key stakeholder: the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). The AAD provided funding for this systematic review (32 studies, 1219 people with clinically diagnosed atopic eczema), which enabled publication of the protocol and full review within 13 months of title registration.

The Core Outcome Measures for Food Allergy (COMFA) consortium and Cochrane Skin-Core Outcome Set Initiative (CS-COUSIN) invite you to attend a virtual, multi-stakeholder conference from September 23 to 28, 2021. 

Professor Hywel Williams has been awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE). He has received the award for services to the UK national Covid-19 research response and his lifelong research into skin diseases.Joint Co-ordinating Editor Dr Robert Dellavalle commented, "Words cannot describe the importance of the contributions Pr.
