Understanding the principles of Systematic Reviews

This one day course will provide you with the appropriate skills to understand and critically appraise systematic reviews. You will learn how best to use online databases and have a go at undertaking some of the key steps required in a systematic review. By having access to both good and bad examples of papers, you will gain insight into how to identify common errors made in systematic reviews and how to interpret the results correctly.  The Cochrane Skin Group will demonstrate tips on how best to use the Cochrane library in the field of dermatology and review authors will talk about their experiences of undertaking reviews.
